  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 green onions, sliced

For the Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha or chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon water

For Serving

  • 3 cups cooked jasmine rice or brown rice
  • Sesame seeds (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking it apart until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Stir in the garlic and onion, cooking for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the broccoli, bell pepper, and carrots. Stir-fry for 5–6 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sriracha, honey, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper flakes, and water.
  6. Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables. Stir well and cook for 2–3 minutes, until everything is evenly coated and heated through.
  7. Remove from the heat and stir in the green onions.
  8. Serve over warm rice and garnish with sesame seeds and cilantro, if desired.
