Pizza Roll-ups

Ingredients

  • 1 tube (13.8 oz / 390 g) refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 cup pizza sauce, divided
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup sliced pepperoni (or cooked sausage, ham, or vegetables)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Roll the pizza dough into a large rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Spread ½ cup pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a ½-inch border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
  5. Add the pepperoni and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
  6. Starting from the long side, roll the dough tightly into a log.
  7. Slice into 1-inch (2.5 cm) rounds and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking tray.
  8. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with parsley if using.
  9. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  10. Warm the remaining ½ cup pizza sauce and serve it alongside for dipping.

Tips

  • Add mushrooms, olives, bell peppers, onions, or spinach for a veggie version.
  • Use cooked chicken or beef instead of pepperoni for a different flavor.
  • Sprinkle extra Parmesan on top during the last 5 minutes of baking for a crispier finish.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven or air fryer.
