Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef
- 5 cups green cabbage, chopped
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 carrot, grated (optional)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the onion and cook for 3–4 minutes until softened.
- Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add the ground beef and cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking it apart until browned. Drain any excess fat if needed.
- Stir in the paprika, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Add the chopped cabbage (and grated carrot, if using). Cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
